Editorial Standards

Editorial Standards and Corrections

Shiri Financials aims to publish careful, transparent and intellectually independent writing.

Sources and evidence

Where practical, analyses use company filings, official statistical releases, financial statements, research papers, legal documents or other identifiable primary materials. Secondary reporting is attributed when used. The absence of evidence is not treated as evidence of guilt, misconduct or an investment outcome.

Facts, interpretations and uncertainty

Published facts, analysis, forecasts and personal opinion should be clearly distinguishable. Financial projections depend on assumptions. Articles concerning companies, governments and individuals are updated or corrected when reliable new evidence materially changes a claim.

Financial content

Market commentary is for general education and information. It is not individualized financial, legal or tax advice. Investment analysis should identify the relevant reporting period, valuation date, currency, key assumptions and material risks where appropriate.

Conflicts, affiliations and commercial links

Commercial relationships, material financial interests and sponsored placements should be disclosed where relevant. The publication may link to books by its author. Any affiliate links should be clearly identified before use.

Corrections

Material errors should be corrected promptly with a note identifying the nature and date of the correction. Older articles may retain their historical context while receiving clearly dated factual updates.

To report a factual error or request a correction, use the Contact page. Please identify the article, the statement in question and any supporting source.
